The Beginning

“It was 2006. You had a Wii remote in your hand. For the first time, playing meant getting up from the couch. You moved your arm. You threw a virtual bowling ball. You laughed. You sweated. And without realizing it, you were exercising. This wasn’t just a video game. It was the start of something much bigger: VirtualSports®. We wanted to take it a step further. We wanted more than just to create video games.”
Virtual Sports isotype
  • Motion controls pulled players off the sofa. For the first time, the body began to enter the game.

  • In Qatar, alongside LaLiga, we began to explore what happens when fans stop watching from the outside and become part of the action.

  • During the FIFA World Cup in Russia, IMSoccer showed that football could reinvent itself as a physical, immersive competition.

  • With stadiums and gyms closed, immersive sport stopped looking like an experiment and revealed its real purpose: keeping people active, connected and competing beyond physical distance.

  • VirtualSports® begins its global expansion. Not as a collection of experiences, but as a new sports category with its own disciplines, culture, and future.

  • VSsoccer, VSbasket, and VShandball are already in play. The next generation is still being invented.

From play to movement. From movement to culture.
